Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders
A campaign targeting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders was launched in February 2009.
In 2010 -2011 campaign strategies include:
- The 30-second television community service announcement (CSA) through Imparja television and National Indigenous Television (NITV)
- Bush beef stir-fry CSA featuring Dale Chapman
- A 30-second radio ad developed from the television community service announcement
- Full page press ads in both the Koori Mail and Torres News (Slam Dunk)
- Recipe point ads including recipe card inserts in Koori Mail (8 weeks) and Torres News (4 weeks)
- Local activities through an extensive network of health workers and nutrition promotion staff
- Distribution of resources and recipe cards
